Just as certain associations of planets in particular signs and/or nakshatras bring greatness to a person, malefic combinations can produce afflictions that affect one's body, mind and intellect. It is necessary for the practicing astrologer to understand these combinations so that measures can be taken both to enhance positive tendencies and augment difficult ones(especially for children). Drawing upon classical theory and practice examples with many illustrations, this class will examine configurations that give insight into the native's mental and emotional state, which impact the outcome of chart interpretation.
