DL-452 Special Uses of Varga Charts – Gomes
Varga charts can be used for a variety of interpretational systems, but we will cover the basic uses of these divisional charts first, then look at the amsa strengths of planets, then cover the uses of the varga charts for almost microscopic interpretation of individual charts. All during the class, we will emphasize a dictum that I had learned many years ago...that the vargas show no more than what can be seen in the natal chart...but the use of vargas helps the astrologer access this information much more quickly and simply than natal chart interpretation alone. Also, since the varga charts are derived from the natal chart, there should be no need to utilize separate mahadasas for the vargas. So, we will use the vargas as a way of simplifying natal chart interpretation, rather than complicating the process.
