Like Vimshottari Dasa, Kalachakra is a lunar Dasa. Like Chara Dasa, its periods are indicated by signs, rather than planets. Kalachakra is simultaneously one of the most praised and most obscure of the dasas, a reputation largely based on the difficulties involved in its calculation.
