DL-186 Vedic Astrology & Womens' Issues – Dreyer
This panel is meant for anyone wishing to review implications of some ancient texts which: (1) Seemingly portray women as less than men; (2) Deal with relationship, sexual, and reproductive issues in ways which seem out of date. Each panelist brings his/her own experience from counseling to research in attempting to cast light on how there interpretations can become relevant and contemporary, as well as discussing the differences inherent in advising man and women. We hope to stimulate a meanigful dialogue with audience members who can add their own invaluable experience to the discussion.
