Panchanga means the “five branches” and deals with the tracking of celestial activity in terms of the day of the week, the present constellation, the lunar day, half a lunar day and a special daily configuration of the relationship of the Sun to the Moon. The Vedic panchanga is a sidereal ephemeris and is generally published annually in a calendar format. The panchanga is a guide to daily planetary positions and other celestial phenomenon. In this class we will introduce you to the fundamentals of understanding and using panchanga data in chart interpretation and forecasting.
