DL-423 Planetary Combustion & Conjunction – Dreyer

In this lecture we will discuss the distinction between when planets are combust the Sun (close enough so that the planet's strength is literally eclipsed by the Sun's rays), and when they occupy the same sign as another planet forming a conjunction, or what is known as a Double Planetary Yoga. Topics include: 1. Sun-Mercury combustion vs. Budha Aditya Yoga (Sun Mercury combination without combustion) 2.Sun-Venus Combustion when Venus is a Morning Star and therefore retrograde vs Sun-Venus combustion when Venus is an evening Star and therefore NOT retrograde; 3. Fine-tuning of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn when they are combust the Sun and when they are in sambhanda (association) without being combust; 4. Combinations involving the Sun, Moon and Nodes especially when there is a natal eclipse; 5. Dasas of combust planets. Lots of examples will be given for all of the above, and we will get to as many combinations as time allows.
