DL-428 Introduction to the Bhavas (Houses) – Goldstein
The bhavas or houses of the chart represent the 12 fields of life experience where the planets express themselves. Bhava is a Sanskrit term meaning a “state of existence” or “essence”. This lecture will present an in-depth examination of the 12 bhavas and outline the primary features for each house. The major categories for grouping houses (dharma, artha, kama, moksha, kendra, trikona, dusthana, upachaya, and maraka) will be delineated. Planetary karakas for each house will also be discussed along with their importance in chart interpretation.
