DL-477 New Perspectives on Neecha Planets – Goldstein
Planets in "neecha" (debilitated rashi) are often viewed/interpreted with fear, anxiety and helplessness. While these planets reveal areas of difficulty or weakness in the chart, they also reveal a potential area of great importance and focus for the individual. The neecha planet reflects an area of deficiency in need of improvement. If a given chart possess overall strength, then that individual may rise above the inherewnt problems associated with that planet and devote a great deal of energy and effort to that planet's development. The neecha planet is taken to a higher (more beneficial) level of expression. This hypothesis about the function and importance of the neecha planet will be presented and discussed. Chart examples of famous athletes (Serena Williams) with neecha Mars and attorneys with neecha Jupiter, will be presented as evidence of how certain individuals rise above the inherent problems associated with these neecha planets. Psychological implications and real life experiences involving neecha planets will also be addressed.
